Derek Dubner - Chief Executive Officer

For the last 15 years, Mr. Dubner worked closely with the late Hank Asher, the creator of market leaders Seisint and TLO and often referred to as “the father of data fusion”. Most recently, Mr. Dubner served as general counsel of TLO from inception through the sale of substantially all of the assets of TLO to TransUnion in December of 2013. Prior roles include vice president and associate group counsel at Equifax, general counsel and chief compliance officer at Naviant (acquired by Equifax), and corporate counsel at Seisint (acquired by Reed Elsevier’s LexisNexis). Mr. Dubner holds a B.S. in Economics/Finance from Pennsylvania State University and a J.D. from Florida State University.

James Reilly - President

Mr. Reilly has served in an executive management capacity within the data fusion industry for the last six years, with over 15 years of executive experience in data markets.  Previously, Mr. Reilly served as an executive with TLO and was responsible for building revenue from start-up to sale.  Additionally, Mr. Reilly was responsible for all customer facing departments, the company’s strategic initiatives, and relationship management of key strategic partners and distributors.

Harry Jordan - Chief Operating Officer

For over a decade, Mr. Jordan served in a variety of roles at LexisNexis Risk Solutions (a division of Reed Elsevier).  Most recently, he founded and led the LexisNexis Health Care business growing it from inception to $110 million in annual revenue.  Mr. Jordan ran the operations of LexisNexis’ Government business and participated in its turnaround, returning it to double-digit growth after 4 years of declining revenue.  He led numerous acquisitions valued at nearly $6 billion, including the two largest deals in LexisNexis history, ChoicePoint ($4.1 billion) and Seisint ($775 million).  Mr. Jordan has been a strategy and technology consultant with The Boston Consulting Group, Price Waterhouse, Cambridge Technology Partners, and Perot Systems.  He has an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management and a BA in Economics from Yale University.

Ole Poulsen - Chief Science Officer

Mr. Poulsen was the primary systems architect of leading data fusion products Accurint® (now a LexisNexis offering) and TLOxp® (now a TransUnion offering). The preeminent expert in his field, Mr. Poulsen’s experience, expertise, and proven technology leadership fuels cogint’s rapid and constant innovation.

Dan MacLachlan - Chief Financial Officer

Mr. MacLachlan brings over a decade of experience as the chief financial officer of data-driven technology companies.  Mr. MacLachlan served in the roles of Director of Finance and Chief Financial Officer at TransUnion after it acquired substantially all of the assets of TLO, a leading information solutions provider, in December 2013.  Mr. MacLachlan was the Chief Financial Officer of TLO since its inception. Prior to TLO, Mr. MacLachlan served as the Chief Financial Officer of JARI Research Corporation, a partnership with the Mayo Clinic advancing proprietary cancer therapeutic technologies using targeted radioactive therapy.  Prior to JARI, Mr. MacLachlan was a Special Agent in the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), specializing in the criminal investigation of public corruption and civil rights violations, including government fraud, election fraud, foreign corrupt practices, hate crimes and human trafficking.  Mr. MacLachlan holds a B.S. in Business and Finance from Nova Southeastern University, a B.B.A. in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University and an M.B.A. in Finance from Florida Gulf Coast University.

Jeff Dell - Chief Information Officer

Mr. Dell brings over 20 years of experience in IT and Information Security, working as an executive within data driven companies for the last 15 years.  Before joining cogint in 2015, Mr. Dell was the founder and CEO for Activeworx, Inc., a leader in information security data analytics, which was purchased by Tripwire, Inc.  Prior to this, he served as chief information security officer for TLO (acquired by TransUnion) and Seisint (acquired by Reed Elsevier’s LexisNexis).  In the past, Mr. Dell was an instructor for SANS, a leading information security training organization, where he taught hacking techniques and packet analysis.  He has been an Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) member since early 2000 and is a founding member of the ISSA South Florida Chapter.  A published author, Mr. Dell has traveled the world speaking about information security.  Mr. Dell holds a B.S. in Business from Arizona State University and has achieved the GCIA and CISSP in addition to numerous other certifications.
